Successfully Launching a Start Up

The Brief

Successfully launching a start up requires creativity and it is something we love doing. Knowing this, we were engaged by ‘Practice to Progress’ to launch their new B2C offering to the market.

Set up by a former Deputy Chief Constable, ‘Practice to Progress’ is an online careers service which helps people join the police. It also supports serving police officers and policing staff with taking the next steps in their policing career.

The Solution

Deliverables included:

  • Created a comms and marketing strategy
  •  Created a social media guide for P2P teams
  •  Copywriting and design for product sheets
  • Worked with external agency on brand development and PPC campaign
  • Copywriting for new B2C website
  • Setting up new social media accounts
  • Coordinating launch day media and social media activity
  • Drafting and pitching in regular new stories to police, national and regional media
  • Posting daily content on social media accounts
  • Advising exec team on comms and marketing approach
  • Coordinating conferences and events

The Outcome

P2P launched their B2C offering in March with a new brand, website and social media accounts.

Initially there was limited traffic going to the website so Purple Pitch advised and developed a ‘Free Top Tips’ guide to drive more traffic to the website and enable data collection for follow up marketing activity.

The guide is now being downloaded regularly and the follow up marketing activity is resulting in direct bookings.
