Michelle Nichols
Michelle Nichols has over 27 years’ experience working in communications and PR across the public and private sector with the last ten years of her career prior to starting her business, spent in senior executive roles.
Michelle was Head of Communications at Thames Valley Police where she led a 30 strong communications team and Network Rail as Head of Communications for the multi-million-pound Thameslink programme and the South East Route.
As Head of Communications for Thames Valley Police, Michelle was the lead on strategic communications, crisis communications and media management. She sat as part of the Chief Constables management team advising the Chief and senior officers on the force response to critical incidents, issues impacting public confidence and major incidents.
Michelle has extensive experience developing communications strategies to help organisations meet their business objectives. She has managed complex crisis communications at a national level, led multi-agency responses to major incidents, managed media relations and briefings, drafted content and copy for every medium you can think of and has a passion for driving digital engagement through effective social media.
During her career, Michelle has worked in a variety of industries including leisure and tourism, sports, local authority, transport, infrastructure, law enforcement, gaming and food and drink.
Michelle is also a volunteer mentor to other women in business as part of the Women Leaders' Mentoring Programme and a Parish Councillor for her village.
