Our Story

We are a small but perfectly formed award winning team of friendly PR professionals based in South Northamptonshire on the iconic Silverstone Circuit with a UK and international client base.

Our core team are members of the same family, which sits at the heart of our values as a business.

Purple Pitch Communications, now known as Purple Pitch PR, was established in February 2018 by our founder Michelle Nichols, after she decided to take the terrifying step to leave secure full time employment and step out on her own.

The first client Purple Pitch worked with was a holiday park group supporting their PR and marketing and they were closely followed by a contract for a national policing programme to support all aspects of strategic communications across multiple projects.

As our client base has grown so has the team! In 2021, we welcomed Michelle’s niece, Tracy Roberts to the team as a full time PR Account Assistant, now manager, and in 2023 the team grew again as Mia Dack, Michelle’s great niece, joined the team as a PR Apprentice.

The team support a portfolio of clients in multiple sectors, but have a strong link to law enforcement clients due to their unique insight and experience of working within policing at a senior level.

We work with some lovely clients across a range of industries and nothing makes us happier than helping our clients achieve their goals. We have worked in the industries we represent so we understand them and also love them!
